WHO WE ARE

Community Calm is a not-for-profit, grassroots initiative that offers a welcoming space for people to connect, find support, and take part in nature-based activities. It is open to adults (18+) who may be feeling lonely, anxious, or low and are looking for a friendly, supportive environment in nature.

Our Mission

Community Calm creates a safe and supportive space where people can meet regularly, build friendships, and feel part of a community. Many of our members tell us that attending sessions has helped them feel more positive, motivated, and connected.

Our ethos of ‘principles over personalities’ is rooted in the 12-step recovery model and guides everything we do. We offer a trauma-aware, non-clinical approach to mental health that values authenticity over image, and connection over comparison. In a world shaped by status and surface, we prioritise integrity, compassion, and peer support. Healing here doesn’t rely on being seen or performing wellness—it grows quietly through being heard, accepted, and included. Every voice matters in our shared journey toward balance and belonging.”

Where We Are

Community Calm runs in two peaceful outdoor locations:

Located in Windsor Great Park, this beautiful green space offers a calming natural setting perfect for our nature-based activities and monthly gatherings.
